How To: Focus at 24 feet for range estimation

I’ve had a ton of people download my range estimation target so I figured I’d make a tutorial. First post your target and find an observation position 24 feet away. You will likely not be able to focus you scope (spotting, rifle, Binos, whatever you got). You will need to make a aperture to cover your lens. This allows less light to travel through the lenses which will give you a larger depth of field, by restricting the amount of light able to enter the objective lens. I ended up having to turn on the hallway light to use it with my spotting scope. I made mine with a piece of 6.5 brass. I ended up having to adjust it before I got a solution that worked for me. Hope this is helpful🤘
